Prepare your dump
What the converter needs from your game files, and the problems to fix first.
AnyPS5 works from the files of an installed game, dumped from your own console with your own homebrew tools. The project does not provide a dumper and cannot help you get games you do not own.
What a usable dump contains
The converter needs the game’s files in decrypted form:
app0/
eboot.bin the game's executable, as a plain ELF file
sce_module/ the game's own libraries
sce_sys/
param.json the title ID and name
... everything else the game ships with
- The executable must be a plain ELF file. Encrypted SELF containers are not accepted. If your dumper produced decrypted SELF containers, unwrap them first with
tools/unwrap_self.pyfrom the AnyPS5 repository. - Keep
sce_sys/. Many games readparam.jsonat start-up and fail without it. - Keep the rest of the game files. The converter only rewrites the executable and modules, but the game needs its data files next to them when it runs.
You can give the web converter the whole app0 folder, or a ZIP of it. Large files that are not the executable or modules can stay in the archive.
Write down the content version
The content version (for example 01.004.000) matters when you share results. Different versions of the same game can behave differently, and game patches are tied to exact bytes. You find it in sce_sys/param.json as contentVersion.
